  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon soy sauce, plus more to taste
  • 1 packed tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds, plus more for serving
  • 6 ounces dangmyeon (sweet potato noodles; see Tip)
