Ingredients
  • 500g rump Steak (17.6oz) thinly sliced across the grain
  • ¼ cup cornflour
  • 2 large onions, peeled, quartered, then each quarter halved again.
  • 1 green capsicum/bell pepper, roughly diced
  • 4 freshly diced garlic cloves
  • 1 ½” piece of fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (adjust up or down to taste)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup low salt soy sauce
  • 1 ½ cups beef stock
  • ¼ cup oil to fry beef
  • 1 Tablespoon cornflour mixed with water
  • Cooked steamed white rice to serve
  • Fresh chili slices and chopped spring onion to garnish
