Indian-ish Cabbage

Ingredients
  • 1 T coconut oil
  • 1 T black mustard seeds
  • small handful curry leaves
  • I small hot red chili, sliced
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 t ground turmeric
  • 1 small cabbage, sliced thinly
  • 1 lemon
  • salt
Steps
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and sliced chili and saute briefly.
  3. Add onion, lover heat, and saute until limp and translucent. Sprinkle with ground turmeric.
  4. Add sliced cabbage, stir to coat, add ΒΌ C water, and cover. Cook until cabbage has softened.
  5. Uncover, and cook until liquid evaporates. Add salt to taste.
  6. Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve.
