Servings: 12 popovers
Ingredients
  • 3 eggs, room temperature
  • 1.5 cups milk, room temperature or lightly warmed
  • 1 t. kosher salt
  • 1.5 cups flour (AP or bread flour)
  • 3 TB butter, melted
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425°
  2. Using butter, grease muffin tins well.
  3. In a blender, add eggs, milk, salt and flour. Blend for 30 seconds.
  4. Add in melted butter. Blend for another 15 to 20 seconds.
  5. Pour into muffin tins and bake at 425° for 20 min.
  6. Without opening over, turn temperature to 350° and bake another 10 minutes.
  7. Remove rolls from muffin tin as soon as they come out of the oven and serve with butter immediately.
Notes
  • cwm notes: this was wonderful served with butter. Next time, i will increase the salt and hope it doesn't change the rise or texture. I also saw that you can sprinkle cheese on top. I want to try cheese and chopped pepperoni too.
