Ingredients
  • 1 1/z lb boneless chuck steak
  • ¼ c diced onion
  • 3 md tomatoes, diced small
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • ¼ c diced bell pepper
  • 1 c beef broth
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp cumin
  • How To Make Carne Guisada
  • 1 Cube the beef,
  • 2 Heat the oil in a skillet.
  • 3 Add the beef, onion, bell pepper and garlic.
  • 4 Cook until beef is browned and veggies tender.
  • 5 Add flour and stir until blended well.
  • 6 Add broth and tomatoes, salt, pepper and cumin. Stir to mix well.
  • 7 Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
  • 8 Serve with flour tortillas.
