Double Chocolate Hazelnut Biscotti
Ingredients
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons espresso powder
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature, plus 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup blanched hazelnuts, lightly toasted
  • ½ cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons turbinado or demerara sugar
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
