IP Cold Start Yogurt

  1. **This is the easiest way to do cold start yogurt!!
  2. 1 Carton fairlife milk (I use whole)
  3. 1 small carton heavy cream (optional)
  4. 1 can sweetened condensed milk (optional)
  5. (You can also use any flavor or the coffee mate natural bliss creamers in place of the scm) it’s a little less calories that way)
  6. 3 to 4 heaping tbs fage 2% or 0% yogurt starter
  7. 3 tbs vanilla extract (optional)
  8. Mix all ingredients in any pitcher with a spout.
  9. Whisk for at least 1 minute
  10. Pour into 8 ounce mason or ball jars
  11. Put 2 cups water in pot liner
  12. Put jars into pot.
  13. Select yogurt setting (make sure it is on normal)
  14. Use plus or minus sign and do anywhere from 8 to 12 hours depending on how tart you want it
  15. Put lid on and wait. I use a glass lid. You can use any lid that fits the pot or the ip lid but i recommend taking the seal out if you use the ip lid. When time is up put lids on the jars and chill for at least 6 hours. I do overnight.
