Jo’s Keto Mozzarella Sticks
No pre freezing necessary!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  •  
  • 1-¾ cup almond flour
  •  
  • 1 heaping Tbsp Johnny’s Garlic Seasoning Spread
  •  
  • 1 egg
  •  
  • 1 package Mozzarella cheese sticks
Steps
  1. Preheat oil to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt 2 cups shredded mozzarella in microwave safe bowl for approximately 1-½ minutes.
  3. Take out and slowly mix almond flour into cheese about ¼ cup at a time.
  4. Add egg and Johnny’s Seasoning when half of the almond flour has been incorporated into mix.
  5. Once thoroughly mixed, it should have a dough consistency and you should be able to handle it with bare hands. If not, sprinkle more almond flour a little at a time until you can.
  6. Place “dough” between two large pieces of parchment paper and roll out thin. Cut pieces just large enough to wrap cheese sticks. Make sure to seal all creases and air holes.
  7. Place in hot oil until golden brown.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve with marinara sauce.
