Ingredients
  • 12 chicken bullion cubes
  • 12 C water
  • 1 heaping tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1 tbsp minced onion
  • 6 to 8 cubed potatoes
  • 2 lg grated carrots
  •  
  • 1C Butter
  • 1 C flour
  • 1 qt half and half
  •  
  • subheading: Serve with:
  • Green onions
  • Bacon
Steps
  1. Place all of the ingredients in the top list in a pan and boil until potatoes are tender.
  2. In a small sauce pan, melt butter.
  3. Add flour stir until thick and smooth.
  4. Stir in half and half with flour mixture and stir until thick.
  5. Stir into boiling soup.
  6. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with desired toppings.
