Ingredients
- 2½ lbs Yukon Gold potatoes
- 1¼ lbs finely shredded green cabbage
- 2 TBS Butter
- ½ tsp pink salt
- 1 tsp chicken broth paste
- ½ cup water
- ⅓ to ½ cup heavy whipping cream
Steps
- Peel the potatoes & thin slice the cabbage.
- Set the Instant Pot to Sauté. Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into 1 to 1½ inch cubes.
- Melt the butter in the pot & sauté the cabbage until it wilts.
- Turn pot off. Sprinkle with salt. Add potatoes, chicken flavor & water.
- Seal the lid. Set the pot on high pressure for 5 min. Do quick release when it’s done.
- Add the cream. Mash the potatoes by hand & stir to mix.
- Salt & pepper to taste.
