The beauty of this bread is that it doesn't require kneading because it contains no yeast.

Ingredients
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- ½ c. flour (white OR unbleached)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1½ c. buttermilk
- ¼ c. oil
- ¼ c. honey
- ¼ c. molasses
- shortening
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Grease 9x5/8x4 loaf pan
- Combine all ingredients; then stir 70 to 80 strokes till batter is well moistened.
- Pour batter into prepared pan & bake till toothpick inserted into middle comes out clean (app. 40 to 50 mins.).
