CHIA JAM
Ingredients
  • One pound fresh or frozen berries (such as blackberries, blueberries, cherries, strawberries, or raspberries)
  • 2 Tablespoons chia seeds
  •  
Steps
  1. Place fruit in a food processor fitted with the "S" blade and process until smooth. Pour into a bowl and stir in the chia seeds. Place into the refrigerator. This will thicken as it chills.
Notes
  • Your jam will only be as sweet as your fruit, so please taste the fruit and be sure it's sweet. If you are at goal weight and if unsweetened fruit juice or dates are not a trigger for you, you can sweeten your fruit that way. You can do this with fruits other than berries such as nectarines, peaches, or plums.
