French Onion Beef and Pasta
Ingredients
  • 8 ounces pasta of choice, I used orecchiette, but you can use any small-shaped pasta, including elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet/envelope (1 ounce) onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • ½ cup frozen green peas, kept frozen until ready to use
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese, plus more for serving.
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
