Paleo Steak Sanga
Ingredients
  • 4 x 120 g beef steaks (such as sirloin, flank, skirt, rump or
  • scotch steaks), lightly pounded with a mallet
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil or other good-quality fat
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 slices of Nic’s Paleo Bread (see recipe below), toasted
  • 2 tablespoons good-quality, sugar-free tomato ketchup (to make your own, see recipe below)
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 large handful of rocket leaves
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise (see recipe below)

  • Marinade (optional)
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons duck fat, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh or dried thyme leaves
