Ingredients
  • 16 oz. uncooked medium shells
  • 15 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz. water (use the can to measure)
  • 2- 15 oz. cans of chick peas drained and rinsed
  • ¾ cup diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano (crushed between your toes, I mean fingers)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
