An Opa favorite for family breakfasts.

Ingredients
  • subheading: The night before:
  • 4½ cups flour (double is 8½, not 9)
  • 4 cups luke warm water
  • 1 yeast (or 2 Tbs)

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • milk
Steps
  1. subheading: The night before:
  2. Dissolve yeast in water
  3. Sift in flour and mix until it makes a medium cake dough thickness.
  4. Set overnight.
  5. subheading: In the morning:
  6. Add salt and eggs (which have been beaten with milk like scrambled eggs) to overnight mixture.
  7. Add more milk if needed, should be like a thin cake batter.
  8. Cook on medium high heat on each side.
Notes
  • Be sure to grease large frying pan before each blena with plenty of butter.
