Cool and crunchy classic from Sue Harris Hutchison. Not a particularly healthy option but a picnic staple.

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch broccoli, chopped
  • 4 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced in rings and halved
  • ¾ C light mayonaise
  • ¼ C nonfat yogurt
  • 2 T white vinegar
  • ⅓ C sugar
Steps
  1. Combine broccoli, bacon and onions in a salad bowl.
  2. Combine mayonnaise, yogurt, vinegar and sugar. Stir well. Pour over veggies and toss. Let chill to develop flavors.
  3. Serve cold.
