Spicy lentil chili!
Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup red lentils, rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3 cups water (or broth)
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1½ teaspoons cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 Tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
Steps
  1. Saute onions in IP with olive oil. Add turkey and brown. Add in water to deglaze pan and then add in spices, beans, and tomatoes. Set IP to manual HP for 8 mins and then do a quick release when done.
  2. So good! Very easy to modify and serve with rice. I used half red, half green yesterday and changed the cook time to 12 mins plus 5 NPR.
