Ingredients
  • Cheryl Blakeway super easy. Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a 9 x 13 pan with foil or parchment. Cover bottom of pan with cracker of choice. Graham or saltine, etc. Melt one cup of butter, mix in one cup brown sugar and bring to boil. Pour over crackers. Bake five minutes. Sprinkle ½ c of chocolate chips over hot caramel. When soft soft spread over the whole surface. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Walnuts are traditional but other nuts work fine. Or as Charles says dried fruit, candied ginger, etc. crystallized colored sugar is festive.
