1940’s-1950’s Cream Cheese Pound Cake

CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE
Ingredients
Steps
  1. 3 sticks butter/margarine
  2. 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  3. 3 cups sugar
  4. 6 large eggs
  5. 3 cups cake flour
  6. 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  7. 1 tsp. almond flavoring
  8. Cream butter/margarine with cream cheese. Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
  9. Add eggs, one at a time and mix well. Add flavorings. Add flour and mix well.
  10. Bake in greased and floured tube pan in a cold oven, start baking at a moderate oven (325 degrees F) for 1 ½ to 2 hours.
  11. Test frequently during the last 30 minutes.
  12. Enjoy!
