  • ¾ CUP LONG-GRAIN WHITE RICE

  • ONE 35-OUNCE CAN WHOLE SAN MARZANO TOMATOES, CRUSHED BY HAND
  • 2 ½ TEASPOONS KOSHER SALT
  • ¼ TEASPOON FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER
  • 1 POUND GROUND BEEF
  • 1 POUND GROUND PORK
  • 1 LARGE EGG, BEATEN
  • 1 CUP FINE DRIED BREAD CRUMBS
  • ⅓ CUP CHOPPED FRESH ITALIAN PARSLEY
