  • 250g jam sugar
  • subheading: For the caramelised cider apples:
  • 2 jazz apples, thinly sliced
  • 175ml apple cider
  • 125g light brown soft sugar
  • ½ tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp lime juice
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • subheading: For the icing:
  • 150g icing sugar
  • 2 to 3 tsp whole milk
