  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ cups white, spelt, or oat flour
  • ⅓ cup sugar, unrefined if desired
  • ¾ tsp each: salt, baking powder, and baking soda
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon, and optional ¼ tsp allspice
  • optional ½ cup raisins, chopped walnuts, or shredded coconut
