Instant Pot Pork and Sauerkraut
Pork, Sauerkraut, Apple & Onion

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs Pork (shoulder, ribs or choice) cut into lg pieces
  • 24 oz jar of Sauerkraut
  • 1 lg Onion sliced
  • 2 apples, cored & sliced
  • 1 ¼ cups lite beer
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • ⅛ c brown sugar
Steps
  1. Heat IP on Sauté.
  2. Add olive oil when "hot"appears.
  3. Brown pork pieces on all sides, then remove from pot.
  4. Add sliced onion, sauté till softened.
  5. Add brown sugar & apples, stir till combined.
  6. Add 1 ¼ c lite beer, stir.
  7. Put entire jar of Sauerkraut over onions & apples.
  8. Add pork pieces.
  9. Cover. Close to seal.
  10. Cook 25 minutes on Manual.
  11. Allow NR. At least 15 to 20 minutes.
  12. Release rest of steam, if any.
  13. Remove Pork and shred.
  14. Return Pork to IP, stir well to combine.
