Bacardi Rum Cake
Ingredients
  • 1 c chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • Small box instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ c milk
  • ½ c oil
  • ½ c dark rum
Steps
  1. Sprinkle nuts in bottom if prepared tube pan.  Beat all other ingredients and pour over.  Bake in 325* oven for 1 hour.  Cool in pan.
  2. Melt together ½ c butter, ¼ c water, 1 c sugar stirring to a boil for 5 minutes.  Remove from heat Add ½ c rum then pour over cake in pan to soak in before taking out of pan.
