Ingredients
- 1 c chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- Small box instant vanilla pudding
- 4 eggs
- ½ c milk
- ½ c oil
- ½ c dark rum
Steps
- Sprinkle nuts in bottom if prepared tube pan. Beat all other ingredients and pour over. Bake in 325* oven for 1 hour. Cool in pan.
- Melt together ½ c butter, ¼ c water, 1 c sugar stirring to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat Add ½ c rum then pour over cake in pan to soak in before taking out of pan.
