Slow Cooker or Pressure Cooker Caribbean Jerk Pulled Pork
"Another key component to the recipe is the pineapple salsa.  It’s only been recently that I’ve discovered that I actually love pineapple, so be on the lookout for everything pineapple the next few months.  I’ll try not to get too crazy, but I can’t promise. You may want to make extras of this salsa because also amazing is serving it with:

Ingredients
  • subheading: For Pork:
  • 3 ½ pound boneless pork shoulder
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon chives
  • ½ teaspoon all spice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 6 oz pineapple juice
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 12 hamburger buns
  • subheading: For salsa:
  • 1 pineapple, cored, peeled and cut into chunks
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
  • ¼ cup loosely packed chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
