Potato Wedges, How to Make Potato Wedges

  • 500 grams potatoes (Russet/ Yukon/ Maris piper)
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder or ¾ teaspoon paprika
  • ¾ to 1 teaspoon dried basil (adjust to taste)
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon thyme (adjust to taste)
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon oregano (adjust to taste)
  • ¾ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 1 tablespoon garlic paste)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (skip if you don't have)
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon crushed black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil for baking (or water for deep frying, refer notes)
  • 2 tablespoons flour (refer notes)
  • oil as needed if deep frying
