  • 15 ounces chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon umami seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 cups cashew milk or any dairy-free plain unsweetened milk alternative
  • 4 and ½ cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon ginger juice or grated ginger
  • juice of one lemon
  • ½ cup labneh or thick coconut yogurt
  • 1 bunch chopped lacinato kale
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
