Apples & Cinnamon Oatmeal - Instant Pot

Ingredients
  • 1 C rolled oats
  • 2 ¼ C water
  • 3 to 6 TB maple syrup (depending on taste)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp cardamom
  • ⅛ tsp nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 C apple, peeled and chopped
  • 2 TB chopped walnuts (optional)
Steps
  1. Place all ingredients in your Instant Pot.
  2. Stir, close lid (sealed), and cook on high/manual for 3 minutes.
  3. When timer goes off, do a quick release (QR).
  4. Stir everything together.
  5. Add more salt and maple syrup to taste.
  6. Serve with chopped walnuts and a drizzle of maple syrup.
