  • 1- 16 oz package ( 454g) super firm tofu (see note 1)
  • ¼ cup arrowroot powder or cornstarch (see note 2)
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast (see note 3)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 small red, sweet, or white onion
  • 2 bell peppers (we used red and green)
  • 1 ½ cups diced pineapple (fresh is best, see note 4)
  • 1 to 1 ½ cups vegan sweet and sour sauce (see note 5)
  • Garnish
  • Green onions
  • Sesame seeds
  • Rice for serving, optional
