One Pot Broccoli Cheddar Salmon Orzo
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tsp salt divided
  • 1 tsp each: black pepper sweet paprika, garlic powder
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup/250 g orzo
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup/120 ml dry white wine
  • 1 small broccoli cut into florets, then roughly chopped
  • 3 cups/700 ml chicken broth
  • 1 cup/240 ml half-and-half
  • 1 cup/80 g freshly shredded cheddar
  • ½ cup/40 g freshly grated Parmesan
  • chili flakes for serving
