  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • ½ cup vegan chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • 2 cups vegan chicken broth or vegetable broth for simmering
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup oil, for frying
  • 2 cups lettuce, finely chopped
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • subheading: Cashew Avocado Aioli:
  • 1 avocado, halved
  • ¼ cup raw cashews (omit if allergic)
  • juice of 1 lime
  • ½ cup nondairy milk
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
