Basel Schoggiweggli
Ingredients
  • ¾ cup milk, lukewarm
  • 1 packet (2 & ¼ tsp) of yeast
  • 5 T sugar (if you use a packet of vanilla sugar you don’t need the vanilla below)
  • 4 T butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 & ¾ cups bread flour (if you are in Switzerland or Germany Zopf is great to use)
  • 3 oz dark chocolate (I used 70% dark)
