Homemade Creamy Chicken Sauce for Hawaiian Haystacks
Ingredients
  • 1 to 2 cups chicken, pre-cooked and cubed or shredded
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic segment, minced or crushed
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 to 3 tbsp sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • milk or water if needed to adjust consistency (if you add a lot of milk or water, you may want to add another tsp of chicken bullion)
