Gameela Ghameela
Ingredients
  • Husband is Moroccan, learned to make “gameela” from his grandmother and mother- works great in InstaPot- sautee 1 to 1.5 pounds in chunked beef or chicken, add a chopped onion, a bag of baby carrots, drained green olives, a can of diced tomatoes, ½ c water and four medium potato’s in large chunks. Season with garlic, pepper, paprika, turmeric and cumin-I don’t measure, but I suppose about 1 tsp cumin and ½ tsp of the others. Olives add enough salt for us. Pressure on high 15 minutes, serve with crusty bread to soak juices- and we garnish with chopped cilantro and Siracha, based on individual tastes.
