Ingredients
  • 120g butter, roughly chopped
  • 250g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 220g plain flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 200g dark chocolate chips
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 170 deg C
  2. Place butter, sugar and vanilla in TM bowl, mix for 30 seconds, speed 6.  Scrape down sides
  3. Add egg, mix for 10 seconds, speed 4
  4. Add flour and baking powder, mix for 30 seconds, speed 3.  Scrape down sides
  5. Mix for a further 30 seconds, speed 3
  6. Add chocolate, mix for 20 seconds, Reverse, speed 3
  7. Roll mixture into golf ball sized balls and press down to flatten slightly.
  8. Place on a lined baking tray 5cm apart.
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cooked just begin to brown on edges.
  10. Allow to cool on baking tray
