Gratin of Potatoes
Bake at 325 degrees a total of 1 hour

Ingredients
  • 5 large russet potatoes or 2 ½ lbs
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp beef bouillon
  • ¼ cup hot water
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • Pepper to taste
Steps
  1. Peel potatoes and thinly  slice into cold water, drain.
  2. Spread ½ of slices into buttered 10” square dish.
  3. Sprinkle with ½ of the onion then sprinkle with pepper.
  4. Overlap the remaining over first layer. Sprinkle with rest of onion and pepper.
  5. Dissolve bouillon in water and pour over potatoes.
  6. Cover with foil and bake at 325 for 40 minutes. Remove foil and drizzle potatoes with melted butter.
  7. Bake uncovered another 20 to 25 minutes until potatoes done.
