Brined & Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
These seeds are boiled in brine and then roasted!
Ingredients
  • Fresh Pumpkin Seeds
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 Tbls Salt
  • 3 Tbls. Butter
Steps
  1. Place seeds in saucepan, add water & salt. Stir to combine.
  2. Boil for 30 or more minutes until seeds look water logged.
  3. Rinse seeds and let drain.
  4. Spread butter on foiled baking pan, place in oven to melt.
  5. Add pumpkin seeds to pan and stir to coat with butter.
  6. Roast in 425° oven for about 25 minutes or a 400° convection oven for 20 minutes...stirring after 10 minutes and then every 5 minutes or so until golden brown and crunchy.
Notes
  • Make sure seeds are covered with water, if needed add more water & salt!
