  • ½ cup dry split peas

  • 2 wiri wiri pepper or ½ red scotch bonnet (I didn't have either so I used a tbsp of hot pepper sauce)
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp geera (ground cumin)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ cup flour
  • Oil for frying
