  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons molasses
  • ⅛ teaspoon red food coloring (optional)
  • 3 cloves finely minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons maltose or honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
