KFC Chicken

Ingredients
  • 500g chicken breast cut into finger style
  • 2 Tblesp almond meal
  • 2 Tblesp nutritional yeast
  • Fresh thyme
  • Garlic salt
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Splash of water

Steps
  1. mix 2TBSP of almond meal( or raw almonds crushed) with 2TBSP of nutritional yeast.
  2. Add fresh thyme, garlic powder, salt and pepper in 1 bowl
  3. In separate bowl, crack an egg and beat, add a splash of water
  4. Dip chicken in the egg and then in the flour mix and then put each piece on a baking tray lined with baking paper
  5. Bake for about 15 to 20min at 375 C or so, but check
Notes
  • Check on chicken so it doesn’t dry out. It is cooked when meat is white
