Sushi Spring Buns with Spicy Almond Dip
Ingredients
  • 12 sheets of Rice paper
  • 2 Avocados, sliced finely lengthways
  • 2 Carrots, julienned
  • 2 to 4 tbsp seaweed - any you like such as dulse, sea lettuce or nori
  • ¼ Red cabbage, finely sliced
  • Sesame seeds, to sprinkle on top
  • subheading: Seasoned Sushi Brown Rice:
  • 1 cup / 190g Brown rice, uncooked
  • 2 tbsp rice or apple cider Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp maple or rice Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • subheading: Spicy and Zesty Almond Dip:
  • 1 cup / 140g Almonds, soaked
  • 1 to 2 cloves of Garlic, peeled
  • 1 tsp, Cayenne pepper
  • 2 Lemons, juice of
  • A pinch of Salt
  • Water, just enough for blending
