Peach Cake

Ingredients
  • ¾ Cup Butter
  • 1½ Cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Pecans
  • 2 Cup Canned Peaches - fresh or canned - mashed
  • 1 tsp each:  cloves, cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder
  •  
  • subheading: Icing:
  • 2 ½ Cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp Butter softened
  • ¼ Cup milk for desired spreading consistency
Steps
  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add eggs - beat well
  3. Sift all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, alternating with peaches and pecans
  4. Bake in loaf pans for 45 to 50 minutes @ 350'
