Instant Pot Dal Palak / Spinach Lentil
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Ghee or Oil for vegan version
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 Green chili
  • 1 small  Onions /diced
  • ½ tbsp Garlic / finely chopped
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 large Tomatoes /chopped
  • 1 cup Red lentils (Masoor Dal) rinsed
  • 6 oz spinach, chopped [ around 2 cups finely chopped spinach]
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • Cilantro to garnish
  • spices
  • ½ tsp  Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp Red Chili powder
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala optional
  • Pot in pot cooking rice
  • 1 cup basmati or jasmine rice
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt to taste
