Easy Homemade Biscuits
Ingredients
  • 8 tablespoons salted butter (divided)
  • 2 cups all purpose flour (plus a little extra for flouring your work surface)
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon baking powder (NOT baking soda)
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar (you could also sub in honey)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup milk (whole or 2% works best)
