Taco Soup in Crock Pot
Easy Crock Pot soup for a cold day
Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef (or more)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, with liquid
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans with liquid
  • 1 (15 ounce) can hominy with liquid
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans peeled and diced tomatoes
  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cups water (wait to add water at the end. You may not need it
  •  
  • FOR SERVING: shredded Cheddar cheese, sour cream, avocado slices, etc.
Steps
  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain the grease.
  2. Place ground beef in crock pot
  3. Add all other canned ingredients and the seasoning mix and stir lightly to combine
  4. Cook on low setting for 8 hours or high for 4 hours
  5. To serve, spoon over your favorite chips (Fritos, tortilla chips, etc.) and add shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado slices
