Cornbread and Sausage Dressing
Ingredients
  • 2 pouches (6.5 oz each) Betty Crocker™ cornbread and muffin mix
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • ¼ cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 medium stalks celery, chopped (1 ½ cups)
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped (1 cup)
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 lb bulk hot pork sausage
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 jalapeño chile, seeded, finely chopped
  • 2 cups frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 ½ teaspoons chopped fresh or ½ teaspoon dried sage leaves
  • 1 ½ teaspoons chopped fresh or ½ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 ¾ to 2 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
