Macaroni Mousse
A Wilson Family Favorite

Ingredients
  • 1½ c elbow macaroni
  • 1½ c milk
  • 1 c soft breadcrumbs
  • ¼ c melted butter
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 T dried parsley
  • 1 T dried onion
  • 1½ c grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
Steps
  1. Cook chicken by baking or boiling, and remove meat from bones.  Cook macaroni per package instructions.  Heat milk to scald.  Combine milk, breadcrumbs, butter, celery, parsley, onion, cheese, and meat from the chicken.  Add eggs and cooked macaroni. Mix well.  Pour into sprayed 9x13 baking pan.  Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until firm and lightly browned.
