Home made coffee machine descaler

I was born in the 1950's and live in New Zealand. In July 2017 I removed all animal products from my diet. Without any effort I dropped 14kg in weight and now have the vigour that I had in my 40's.
Ingredients
  • subheading: Step 1: Mix together in a jug:
  • 10 grams citric acid (¾ tablespoon)
  • 1 cup hot water
  •  
  • Cold water
Steps
  1. Mix citric acid and hot water as per Step 1 above.
  2. Pour enough cold water into the jug to bring the level up to the 1 litre mark.
  3. Run the liquid through your coffee machine on the normal descale cycle.
  4. If you machine doesn't have a descale cycle, run the liquid through the coffee machine as a normal coffee but without the coffee grinds.
  5. Proceed until the liquid runs clear.
