Tea Brew but Must Cool Before Using for Raspberry Zinger Tea Brew for the cocktail

3 bags Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger

Tea Pot that can hold 4 cups of water, though will not be using 4 cups of water. Helps to add hot water to pre-warm the tea pot and then dump out that water before adding water to cover the tea bags.

¼ cup granulated sugar that will sweeten the Raspberry Zinger Brew

Water used will be enough to cover the tea bags sitting in the tea pot strainer so it can brew, and do stir before brewing 6 minutes. Of course bring water to boil, I like to use an electric kettle to heat up the water.

subheading: FOR INDIVIDUAL COCKTAIL WILL NEED:

Tequila 2 shot glasses

3 shots of the Raspberry Zinger Tea Brew, see above

½ shot glass of Triple Sec or Grand Marnier

2 tablespoon of either fresh lemon juice or REAL Lemon Juice Concentrate no generic please

½ shot glass of Agave Syrup because I was light on the amount of granulated sugar with the hot tea brew

Shot Glass to use to measure

Will be brewing the 3 tea bags as shown above using the cute tea pot just for brewing tea that has a cute strainer. And add that ¼ cup of granulated sugar and let it dissolve. I know it won't be overly sweet and that was done on purpose. If strainer missing, just strain in a tea strainer later. Do not over think please.

Cool that brew. Do not want it hot. Cold is okay just don't cool with ice cubes as look around for a refrigerator. Okay but don't put in fridge while hot because it will be cloudy. Do not try to think you know better. You don't. Just kinda sweet right now but so what. You will be adding Agave later and yes you can do that by taste after you try it my way first. I am watching you.

Okay the recipe that inspired me said 1 cup of frozen strawberries which I do not have and not even sure it they are as tasty as strawberries from the produce department but only show it here as if you want to later incorporate the frozen strawberries or fresh you can and call it what what you want. Pretty sure strawberries frozen was to make a frozen cocktail. Today Kitty Needs A Break. That is not me, btw.

From my inspiration recipe, I decided once I had a tea brew my way instead....

That for one cocktail I would start doing my version of a ratio for the cocktail.

So, knew 2 shots of Patron Añejo Tequila (or Silver) or just a good brand of tequila as Kitty deserves the good stuff after tending to her daddy and now in pain with her back out of whack. Girl needs the good stuff.

Next, pretty sure just 3 shot glasses of my cooled down tea brew. As my glass as I was tossing stuff in it was getting high enough and I needed some room for ice.

Went wild with the Lemon Juice for a one serving vs what my inspired me recipe had for enough for 2 servings. I wanted to save my fresh lemons to squeeze later but could have and if you want fresh lemon juice, yes, but for now I went with REAL LEMON CONCENTRATE not generic as I trust that brand as far as taste. So use the 2 tablespoon into the it has been cooled and nothing is hot. Because too hot when putting it together it will effect the nutritional value of the lemon juice and yes, I consider that makes this cocktail medicinal.

And because I was easy on the sugar sweetening the brewed tea, for an individual serving, I used ½ shot glass of Agave Syrup as every Margarita needs more Agave.

Of course, you will mix it all together and add ice and stir a bit to get it cooler faster.

This drink to me tastes innocent and it can sneak up on you based on your tolerance. Not too sweet and icky and I didn't find it very tart. But up to you to add more lemon juice, If you want Orange juice okay but don't go crazy. I decided on the Triple Sec for the Orange part.

Out of All the drinks I have tossed together this one is one that will be repeated because it is my favorite thus far that I have put together. Hope I managed to actually state well enough how it was put together. Being exact is not a must. But close enough is good enough.

4/19/2021 tried 2 oz gin to 3 oz aka used shot glasses of the raspberry zinger tea I had made. And eyed some REAL LEMON, triple sec and a lime squeeze and tossed the lime in. Stir. Ice. Calling that one GINNY IS DEAD FINALLY because of Fear of the Walking Dead. Ginny dead.

And a dill pickle on the side offers salty.

Used also some honey syrup (equal water to honey) with pure maple syrup mixed to get last of the honey and used it instead of agave or to add more sweetness if last of agave wasn’t enough.

Ratio of flavored tea to alcohol is pretty much 3 to 2. But my changing up a bit is with the other ingredients but staying close to measure size.
